We'll curate a one-of-a-kind layout centred to function of your business, the space and the overall feel as these shapes come to life. Carefully curated with foot traffic in mind, plans can be customised to show the flow of customers versus staff to demonstrate their experiences as they interact with the space. Storage, prep and private areas can be concealed or exposed depending on your brief and target market.

All plans can be created for both new builds and renovations, closely working with trades to create proposal floor plans, elevations, sections, lighting, joinery, electrical & plumbing plans. These plans can be included in council development applications and submitted by the site manager.

This is when the art of colour psychology comes in to play. We'll start working with hues, tones and texture to piece together all the hard finishes of the design. Combinations of different finishes will lead to different reactions in our body; whether it be colours that energise us, calm us, make us focused or even talkative.

Finishes oversee all the hard surfaces. From floorboards to tiles, natural stone slabs, wall panelling, microcement, carpet, joinery facia and engineered wraps.

All proposed finishes are sourced from an array of networked suppliers within Australia and fit all scales of the budget. Presented in a FF&E schedule with links to suppliers and pricing, accompanied by physical samples and moodboard curation to show how the elements work together to achieve the desired space.

Fixtures also tie in with colour psychology and finishes, but then bring in the incredible concept of space and shape to convey a desired feel or design style in the home. In example, pieces that have defined lines and straight edged shapes tend to display quite modern, whereas rounded fixtures give a more relaxed and family orientated feel to the home.

Fixtures oversees anything three-dimensional that requires installation from trades. Whether it be tapware, hardware, basins, sinks, wastes, mirrors, toilets, baths and pre-made vanities.

One of the most impactful parts of the design that is often overlooked. Lighting can come in all different shapes and sizes - whether it's large sculptural features that are guaranteed to turn heads, or small lights that are moodly lit to create ambience or reveal other special features in the space. Either substituting or complimenting standard lighting fitouts.

The ability to create ambience is an experience in itself. For all retails stores, cafes and restaurants it will speak volumes to the way the customer feels and buys in your space. For the offices, let's think outside the box of the overpowerful strip lighting and create a healthy environment full of warm cocooning light, task lighting at the work stations and ambience in the break room.

Feature lighting may include pendants, wall sconces, picture lights, table and floor lamps. All pieces are carefully sourced from an array of networked suppliers in Australia, and are presented in an FF&E schedule with recommended bulb specifications.

Lighting plans can be curated wherever applicable, working closely with the electrician upon installation for accurate suspension and overall positioning in the space itself.

There are so many ways to dress windows, each having the ability to change the feel of the space in dramatic ways. From blinds to shutters, blockouts and sheer curtains.

Here we will look at the functionality of the room, as well as the aesthetics. Selecting finishes and styles that align to the desired feel of the space targeted to the brief to accurately display the desired amount of natural light. These selections can be used as suggestions and taken to various fabricators that meet different scales of the budget.

The final piece of the conceptual development puzzle as we tie together the aesthetics of colour, texture and tone to the layout, sculptural shapes & function in the three-dimensional realm.

Furniture and decor truly has the power to change the feel of your space. Let's take a chair for example. If you want a fast turnover dining experience, will a cozy upholstered armchair push you to leave anytime soon?

Jess has networked with hundreds of suppliers and smaller makers all across Australia, giving the ability to narrow down an incredibly large market to a few selections; tailored to your desired mood, feel & function of the home whilst fitting every range of the budget.

Each and every piece will have an intention in your space. Finalised selections will be handed over in documentation with links to suppliers, detailed descriptions of their purpose, and if possible, the story of how they are made and who they support.

Whether it's aligned to your brand or you love a more holistic approach, Jess can also select natural, sustainable or ethically handmade pieces that are slow-made using traditional artisanal methods. Pieces that are made-to-last can either be renovated or donated to change the look and feel of the space without supporting fast fashion in the interiors realm.

Conceptual designs are presented in 1:1 meetings accompanied by digital boards to ensure our vision is aligned. There is always room for improvement as we develop the project and work through each step, going above and beyond the initial vision.

The final step of the journey which oversees the installation and finalised styling of all furniture and decor pieces in the space. Whether it be carefully positioning glasses, vases, the overall layout of chairs & tables or plants.

Installation of flat pack or bulky furniture items, artwork hanging and rubbish removal can be quoted on by professional trades for an easy transition and fast open.

Jess can work with photographers and videographers to re-style the space for the camera and capture designer images worthy of food and interior magazines, news articles, social media and web pages. An incredible additional package to curate jaw dropping branding content to take your business to the next level.

Plants are becoming more and more frequently used in interior spaces. They are proven to connect us to the outdoors, which in turn calms down the mind and body. They also have incredible physical benefits - whether it be purifying the air to improve oxygen and remove nasties, preventing mold, repelling certain bugs and increase humidity to help moisturise our hair and skin.

They can also be used to make an absolute statement inside of your space. Our studio selects plants based off aesthetics and function, looking at what's needed in the space but also what will work. Some plants can be quite needy so unless you or or one of your employees is a professional plant owner we will only suggest the most easy going varieties. Selections will be included in your Design Documentation and discussed at the handover meeting. Please note that pricing does vary depending on location and availability. We will work hard to select the perfect additions whilst keeping to the brief of your project and suggest back ups as needed.
